Plant Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Swaziland, Matsapha (Eswatini)

Purpose of the Job

To plan and undertake the plant maintenance and operations function to ensure optimum integrity of the assets.

What you have done before

Minimum:
NQF Level 6 (National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related)
1 to 3 years’ experience in Plant Operations/Maintenance

Advantageous:

Certifcation in HSEQ
Petroleum Industry experience

What you'll be doing

Maintenance Planning, Scheduling & Execution

• Ensure adequate planning around preventative maintenance strategies
• Adhere to approved maintenance schedule for Matsapha Depot
• Ensure that audit indicates full compliance with company policies, procedures and standards
• Manage Additive dosing rates on rail receipts.
• Ensure reduced downtime and equipment failure and lower maintenance costs, within budget
• Ensure that asset register is up to date                                               

Contractor Management

• Ensure that induction and training are conducted according to VE Standards
• Ensure issuing of work permits (PTW) and effective management of contractors on site
• Ensure contractors learn from past incidents to avoid repeats 

Operation Control & Quality Control Management

• Ensure that waste management is controlled and take responsibility for depot housekeeping with equipment safe and available for maintenance.
• Safety critical equipment, Structured rounds are done daily.
• Ensure Product Quality Receipt standards are met as required to ensure compliance and governance
• Ensure that all maintenance work executed meets required standards and complies with all safe work practices and method statements
• Ensure compliance to all stated permit to work conditions and that job safety analysis discussions take place
