Workshop Assistant

JOB PURPOSE

Assist Diesel Mechanic on preventative and reactive maintenance repairs on all bulk delivery vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and Engen's policies & procedures within acceptable time frames and within the approved budget.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATION:

MINIMUM
NQF Level (Grade 12/Matric or Equivalent)
Valid Code B Driver’s License

EXPERIENCE:

MINIMUM
2 years general work experience in a workshop

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

FLEET MAINTENANCE

•    Ensure that the relevant administration is completed, and records are documented
•    Ensure that the workshop procedures are being followed
•    Maintain and adhere to workshop housekeeping, cleanliness and inspections
•    Report all faulty equipment on M.I. T

CUSTOMER & CONTRCTOR INTERFACE

•    Interact with customers and service providers 
•    Work with contractor to ensure deliverables are met
•    Provide internal support to the contractor

HSEQ COMPLIANCE

•    Comply to HSEQ policies and regulations in terems of PPE, ZETO Rules and STOP Compliance
•    Ensure strict compliance to Engen's Health safety and environmental policies
