Senior Corporate Security Advisor

LOCATION:  CAPE TOWN

JOB PURPOSE

Establish, develop and manage a centre of expertise for pro-active Security, Loss Control, Intelligence, Investigation and Analysis within Engen in support of security and crime risk mitigation strategies.

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE BEFORE

• NQF Level 7 (Degree in Security Management)
• 8 years’ experience in Security, Loss Control and Intelligence Management
• 2-3 years related technology experience

Advantageous

• Accredited Intelligence Qualification
• Certified Fraud Examiner
• 10 yrs in Corporate Security environment

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

LOSS CONTROL

• Manage a centre of excellence of loss control across Engen by proactively facilitating, supporting and managing the implementation of loss control strategies, solutions, processes, procedures and technologies in support of Engen's business strategy and in alignment with industry best practice to embed and manage Loss Control principles in Engen's security strategy and solutions

INTELLIGENCE GATHERING AND ANALYSIS

• Manage an intelligence and analysis capability through developing and maintaining networks in the relevant governmental, security, law enforcement and civil organisations in support of loss control strategies, management of crime, fraud and socio-economic risk to Engen

INVESTIGATIONS MANAGEMENT

• Manage proactive investigations in support of Engen's security strategy and standards, relating to criminal activity and internal dishonest behavior affecting the organization’s value chain primarily focusing on unreported incidents, trends and issues.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT

• Manage relationships with law enforcement and intelligence agencies, prosecuting authorities to ensure successful criminal investigation and prosecution.

INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS

• Conceptualize, develop and implement technology based risk mitigation solutions in support of security, intelligence and loss control strategies and standards.
