Analyst (Maternity Cover) (Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Cape Town

Purpose of the Job

To provide business analysis and financial support that enable management to make effective business decisions, preparation and consolidation of profitability reports

What You'll Have Done Before

• NQF Level 7 (Degree in Finance)
• 5 years Analytics experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting role

What You'll Be Doing

Analytical Support

• Develop and produce reporting analytics to clearly identify key trends or issues that necessitate further analysis for improvements
• Ensure daily or weekly invoicing of major airlines for product purchased

Balance Scorecard Reporting

• Conduct Business Performance Review by periodically monitoring, analyzing and reporting the business performance (KPI's) and budget utilization/variances for the Division to ensure performance tracking and decision making (i.e. in order to address potential issues and recommend appropriate intervention plans)

DCF Analysis

• Compile and update DCF model accurately for all capital investment requirements in order to support investment decisions

Demand Forecasting

• Collect and co-ordinate volume forecast inputs from Sales at planning class level by depot and customer

Business Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Coordinate all the relevant business planning & forecasting inputs from Sales for the development of the plans and strategies as well as capital project administration
